MR. LITO MONICO C. LORENZANA

PRESIDENT

LMLMr. Lorenzana is the current president and chairperson of the board of the Centrist Democracy Political Institute.  He was the chairperson of the board and president of the Technical Assistance Center for the Development of Rural and Urban Poor (TACDRUP), an NGO based in Davao City that served largely in the communities of Southern Mindanao for the last 35 years. 

Mr. Lorenzana earned his Master in Public Administration in the Harvard University – Kennedy School of Government and was the first president of the Harvard-KSG Alumni Association of the Philippines. He was recruited by the Cory Aquino Government to her cabinet and assumed the positions of undersecretary of the departments of local government (DLG) and environment and natural resources (DENR). Subsequently he also served the administrations of Presidents Ramos, Estrada and Arroyo in various capacities as Commissioner of Kabisig, Edsa People Power Commission, Charter Change Commission and the Chairman of the Charter Change Advocacy Commission. He sat on various corporate boards of government and private corporations and consultant for the NRMP program of the World Bank, the USAID and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. 

In the political arena, he was one of the founders of the PDP Laban with Nene Pimentel; fathered the Successor Generation with Rey Teves and with Peter Koeppinger he was a co-convenor of the Centrist Democratic Movement Federation and the current President of the Centrist Democratic Party: Ang Partido ng Tunay na Demokrasya.

MR. JORDAN JAY C. ANTOLIN

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

JordanThe current Executive Director of the Centrist Democracy Political Institute (CDPI), is one of the pioneers of the Centrist Democratic Movement Federations of the Philippines and one of the founding members and the current Secretary General of the Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines.

With distinctions, he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Language and Literature at Mindanao State University and was a recipient of the CHED-HEDP Scholarship Grant for his Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature (MELL) at Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. He is an active member and leader of various NGO, socio-civic, and professional organizations and was given numerous awards and recognitions in various capacities. Moreover, Mr. Antolin has organized and facilitated various activities and programs both locally and nationally and has written and published articles on politics, peace building, and literary pieces, among others.

He was once a college instructor for almost 15 years at Liceo de Cagayan University, Cagayan de Oro City. He was one of the delegates of the Centrist Democratic Youth Association of the Philippines (CDYAP) cultural and political study tour in Germany on August-September 2013 and was one of the recipients of the 15th Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung International Summer School on Political Campaigning in Challenging Domestic and International Landscapes held in Berlin, Germany on June-July 2016 under the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS)-Philippines program.

MS. JEA A. SATA, LPT

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

JEAA 26 yrs. old PRC licensed professional residing in Muntinlupa City. She graduated year 2011 at Philippine Normal University with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English and with specialization in Preschool Education. Currently, she is taking up a Masteral’s Degree Program at the same school specializing in Educational Management.

Immediately after her college graduation, she worked for 2 years as a teacher in private schools. She
was then employed on a job order basis as a Media Analyst of the Office for Transportation Security (OTS), an attached agency of the Department of Transportation Security (DOTC). Her exposure in executive government started 6 months after being hired at OTS. She was referred to become the
Executive Assistant of the newly appointed Assistant Secretary for Operations in the DOTC Central Office and served from July 2014 to March 2016. In the middle of the 2016 1 st quarter, she was brought back again to OTS to become the Executive Assistant of the Undersecretary, the head of the said attached agency.

Her work experiences both in the private educational institutions and in the executive government made her to become adept in handling administrative and technical requirements of her work while her skills and abilities were further honed as she became part of national and international engagements such as the 2014 Papal Visit, the 3 rd World Conference in Disaster Risk Reduction in Japan, the 2015 APEC Summit and the likes. She acquired relevant knowledge and skills in personnel management, conduct of fact finding investigations, Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) projects, Technical Working Group (TWG) functions, technical composition of official reports and correspondences including presentations and involvement /representation in various engagement of the department.

MS. RONA MAGLINES

ADMINISTRATIVE & FINANCE OFFICER

The current administrative and finance officer, is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC). She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Business Administration major in Corporate Business at the University of South Eastern Philippines (USeP). Ms. Maglines started her term as an administrative and finance officer in January 6, 2014 for the last four years, she participated and organized various trainings and workshops on federalism and political development nationwide together with his colleagues in CDPI. 


Aside from being a mother of two and a loving wife, Ms. Maglines is also a very successful entrepreneur who runs her own business in Davao City.

MS. GENEVEV VIRTUALLA

ASST. TO ADMINISTRATIVE/FINANCE & PROGRAM OFFICER

The current assistant to the administrative, finance, and program officer, is a graduate of Bachelor of Science Business Administration major in Management Accounting at University of Mindanao-Tagum City Campus, with distinctions.

Immediately after graduation, she worked for a year and a half in Sheridan Marketing, Inc. as an accounting staff and was in charge in accounting system called Firmbook. Moreover, she became the Financial Custodian in charge in the same company. Miss Virtualla took part in numerous social involvements and gatherings including forums on politics, federalism, and peace talks. She has helped organize and facilitate several federalism lecture-series all over the Philippines

MS. CYRELL J. ALINGASA

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER



Cyrell

The current communications officer of CDPI, is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Ateneo de Davao University. She has been active in the community development sector as a social researcher and a community organizer. She is one of the original volunteers of the Center of Psychological Extension and Research Services (COPERS) deployed to typhoon-stricken areas in Mindanao. She conducts psycho-social support to children and adults who experience PTSD or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Moreover, she has also took part in baseline studies for 5-year projects in flood-prone areas in urban and rural parts of Mindanao for a project funded by Misereor. She had a brief volunteer experience with the indigenous peoples of Mindanao through iEmergence. She took part in facilitating and documenting Bangsamoro Basic Law consultations in the Muslim areas and Lumad communities in Mindanao. Miss Alingasa worked extensively in a local NGO, the Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights, Inc., with the disadvantaged children in vulnerable communities of Davao.

Moreover, Miss Alingasa was a former research instructor at the University of Mindanao and Holy Cross of Davao College. She is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Applied Social Research at Ateneo de Davao University. As of the present, Miss Alingasa is writing her thesis proposal entitled, “From Political Inequality to Political Efficacy: the roles of civil society organizations in enhancing political efficacy among the disadvantaged youth of Davao”.

MR. RENATO TIBON

POLITICAL ACTION OFFICER

Mr. Renato G. Tibon graduated at Liceo de Cagayan (CDO) with a degree in BS Commerce Major in Banking and Finance. He worked previously in different insurance companies from 1979 to 2000 then became the agency manager of Caritas Health Shield, Inc. 2000 to present. He participated in various organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Secured Valley where he was a former President from 2009-2011. At the present, he is one of the CDPI’s Political Action Officers tasked to handle the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Lanao del Norte areas. Simultaneously, he is an active prime mover of the CDP – Cagayan de Oro City Chapter. He was once a Regional Chairperson of the Centrist Democratic Party in Northern Mindanao. He graduated at Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro City with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Major in Banking and Finance.

MR. IRENEO NOYNAY

POLITICAL ACTION OFFICER

Mr. Noynay is a graduate of Aircraft Maintenance Technology at PATTS School of Aeronautics in Parañaque. After he graduated, he eventually started his active participation in the democratic process when he founded and organized various livelihood and neighborhood associations & cooperatives. He also attended different trainings and seminars provided by different Non-Government Organizations in the field of livelihood skills and developmental skills and awareness. He was a former consultant of Advocate Balance Environment Foundation (ABE) before he became an active Community Development Organizer. In the present, he is a consultant of Rich Ideas Developmental Skills (RIDS) and a political action officer of the Centrist Democracy Political Institute.
